Last September 21, 2013, our school, Quezon City Academy held an ICT outreach program for the selected public grade school students. The three schools that participated in the said outreach program were Toro Hills Elementary School, Bago Bantay Elementary School and San Francisco Elementary School. Each school has 6 representative students, from grades five and six. The program started at exactly 1:00 P.M. We, us the student assistants, toured them around the campus. It was really a fun activity being with those kids. They were so cute and playful. Then at exactly 1:30 P.M, we started the session. Ate Khatte and Ate Jammie taught blogging and making powerpoint presentation respectively. We assist the students for making a blog. Afterwards, Ma’am Cisneros- the ICT adviser, discussed about the blog contest. At 4:00 P.M, the program ended. We gathered at the school lobby for the traditional photo-taking. It was an enjoyable day for me and the rest of my schoolmates. For a very short time, we had so much fun. We actually announced to each other that those kids were our child/sibling.^___^v
Saying goodbyes to those kids were really hard for us. They became so close to our hearts. It made me realized that taking good care of those kids or any other kids are such a great feeling. It such a happy feeling to help other people in your own simple way.
